Portraits are executed from live sittings and/or photographs (or both). Mr. DeMille will guide you in selecting the ideal portrait arrangement, medium (pastel, sepia, oil), size, composition, clothing and background.

Sepia portraits are done on a toned paper, drawn with a sepia color crayon and highlighted with a white pastel. They are fresh and vibrant with a bit of impressionistic flavor. From $500

Pastels are full color, typically on a sanded, velour, or other specialty paper. Both Conte (sepia) and Pastels are to be framed under glass. From $8,000

Oil paintings are executed typically on stretched linen canvas. From $10,000

Payment terms, shipping, timelines are determined before the portrait begins. Framing is extra on all portraits.
